Apple Tree Man Wall Mount

The Apple Tree Man Wall Mount is based on the old annual tradition of wassailing the oldest apple tree in the orchard every winter to ensure bountiful of apples for the next harvest. The wassailing includes songs and a toast (with actual toast) and even cider. This piece was created with a buff stoneware clay, oxides and a range of underglazes. Everything was hand built and the tree bark texture comes from an apple tree.
